Neyr Perse Completes Overhaul Operations of South Pars Phase 14 Refinery

The major overhaul of the Phase 14 refinery at South Pars was successfully completed by Neyr Perse, the oil and gas subsidiary of MAPNA Group, relying entirely on domestic capabilities.

The seven-day operation was carried out in full compliance with high safety and quality standards, thanks to the dedicated efforts of Neyr Perse’s technical specialists.

Achieving approximately 97 percent of the executable planned activities within a tight and limited timeframe marks a significant milestone in the history of the South Pars Phase 14 project.

In total, the overhaul plan included 1,703 shutdown-required tasks and 1,407 executable activities. Ultimately, 1,362 of these were successfully completed, reflecting a 96.8 percent execution rate of the overall plan.

The successful completion of this overhaul was made possible through close coordination among engineering, procurement, implementation, and commissioning teams. This collaborative effort involved the client, subcontractors, suppliers, and manufacturers, enabling the execution of over eight activities per hour, around the clock, during the entire seven-day period.

Among the notable achievements was the full completion of all “A” punch list items for the operational units—tasks that were under the responsibility of MAPNA. This represented the highest progress among consortium members in terms of mission fulfillment, punch list clearance, and RFC (Ready for Commissioning) and RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) certifications.

Additionally, the synchronized presence and support of 17 manufacturers and suppliers during the shutdown period played a key role in the success of the overhaul. These accomplishments were the result of precise planning, continuous follow-up, and the ability of Neyr Perse specialists to overcome complex challenges within a short timeframe.
