MAPNA Group participated in the Fourth International Exhibition of Rail Transportation held on 15-18 May, 2016 in Tehran.
The exhibition, hosted by the Iran International Exhibitions Company, witnessed an influx of international participants and visitors who presented their latest products and technological advances in the rail industry.
MAPNA Group’s three rail subsidiaries, Locomotive Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Railway Operation Development & Maintenance Co., and Railway Construction & Development Co. presented their products and services in the exhibition.
MAPNA Electric & Control, Engineering & Manufacturing (MECO) and MAPNA Generator and Wind Turbine Engineering and manufacturing Co. (PARS) also took part in the exhibition.
Minister of Industry Mohammad-Reza Nematzadeh, Minister of Transportation Abbas Akhoundi and managing director of national rail transportation company Hassan Mousavinejad were among visitors to MAPNA booth in the exhibition.
MAPNA rail division has been active since 2005. It is currently leading the 2 billion dollar megaproject for electrification of Tehran-Mashhad railway.
