IRAN AIRSHOW KICKS OFF AS MAPNA GROUP SET TO UNVEIL NEW CAPACITIES

The 11th edition of the Iran International Airshow & Aerospace Exhibition kicked off on December 13 on Kish Island.

The 11th edition of the Iran International Airshow & Aerospace Exhibition kicked off on December 13 on Kish Island.

MAPNA Group is showcasing its capacities in the aviation industry along with 90 Iranian and seven foreign companies.

The event will feature the first-ever live testing of a repaired engine of a passenger plane by MAPNA Group.

The conglomerate will also unveil a mobile test stand for aeroengines. The stand has been designed and manufactured by MAPNA Group experts.

Relying on its engineering capabilities and infrastructure as well as its experiences in the area of developing gas turbines, MAPNA Group has decided to enter the aviation industry.

Accordingly, the air division has been tasked with repairing and testing aircraft engines and designing and manufacturing engine parts based on international standards by using domestic experts and the latest technology. The division aims to boost Iran’s aviation fleet. The airshow will go through December 16.
