MAPNA Group is set to launch a power plant service center in Iraq to help maintain the neighboring country’s power production sustainability.
As per a deal signed on Thursday, March 17, 2022, between MAPNA Group and Al-Furat Al-Awsat, on behalf of the Iraqi Electricity Ministry, the Iranian conglomerate will establish its power plant service center in the vicinity of the Karbala.
The center is aimed to provide excellent and advanced services that are unparalleled in the region. It will also hold specialized courses to train experts in the key sector.
According to the CEO of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Company, Mohammad Fazil, “The purpose of this contract is to provide the best services in terms of quality and coverage of power plant services at the lowest cost.”
“This cooperation will definitely be the start of long-term partnerships with the Iranian side to grow the electricity infrastructure industry in Iraq,” he added.
