The award was presented to Roein Sazeh Hooshmand by Alireza Ashouri, Deputy Minister of Science and Head of the Iranian Research Organization for Science and Technology (IROST).
The company operates under MAPNA Additive, one of MAPNA Group’s specialized units.
Roein Sazeh Hooshmand was selected from among 170 knowledge-based and technology companies based at the International Technology Park.
The recognition comes only three years after the company’s establishment. The award reflects the conglomerate’s strategic direction and defined mission in entering the field of additive manufacturing.
MAPNA Additive’s mission focuses on developing products and technologies based on metal additive manufacturing. The objective is to reduce costs and production time while increasing flexibility across design, manufacturing, and service processes within MAPNA Group.
MAPNA Group began structured efforts to develop additive manufacturing technologies in 2016. Early initiatives led to the formation of specialized teams within MAPNA-affiliated companies, including Tuga, Parto, and Mavadkaran. These teams helped establish the initial infrastructure and practical experience required for the technology’s deployment.
