MAPNA Group receives the top award among Iranian contractor companies thanks to its impressive financial sheets in the fiscal year of March 21, 2014-March 21, 2015.
MAPNA Group made this achievement in the eighteenth annual ranking of leading Iranian companies which was announced on January 26, 2016.
Eleven subsidiaries of the group were also ranked among the top 500 domestic companies in various sectors.
MAPNA Group achieved the overall rank of 28 in a master list dominated by refineries, banks and financial institutes. Evaluations indicated a ten percent growth in MAPNA Group’s sale compared to the previous fiscal year.
MAPNA Group subsidiaries that appeared among the top 500 Iranian companies included MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing Company (164), Neyre Perse (238), MAPNA Construction and Development of Combined Cycle Power Plants (240), MAPNA Construction and Development of Power Plants (252), Nasb Niroo (257), MAPNA Drilling Company (421), MAPNA STS (449), MAPNA Railway Operation, Development & Maintenance Company (463), Alborz Turbine Engineering and Support Company (489), and MAPNA Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company (491).
Of these, MAPNA Construction and Development of Power Plants, MAPNA Drilling Company and Neyre Perse had improved their ranks by 59, 44 and 23 points respectively while Alborz Turbine and MAPNA Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company experienced their first presence among the top 500.
In the subcategory of Machineries, Equipment and Metal Industries three subsidiaries of MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing Company (TUGA), MAPNA STS and MAPNA Locomotive Engineering and Manufacturing Company achieved third, twenty-fourth and twenty-seventh ranks respectively.
MAPNA Railway Operation, Development & Maintenance Company became seventh in the Technical and Engineering Services subcategory while MAPNA Drilling Company ranked 13th in Exploration, Extraction and Ancillary Services.
The Contractor Companies list included five MAPNA Group subsidiaries of Neyre Perse (13), MAPNA Construction and Development of Combined Cycle Power Plants (14), MAPNA Construction and Development of Power Plants (16), Nasb Niroo (17) and Alborz Turbine Engineering and Support Company (25).
The ranking of leading Iranian companies is carried out every year by Iran’s Industrial Management Institute. MAPNA Group was ranked 29th in the previous year.
