MAPNA Group was granted a final acceptance certificate (FAC) for the permanent delivery of the first gas unit of Kahnuj Combined Cycle Power Plant
The project includes an upgraded version of the V94.2 gas turbine, HRSG with supplementary firing, and ACC cooling system. The gas unit has a capacity of 162 MWs.
MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development (MD-2) Company is the executor of the project.
With the delivery of the unit, MD-2 has now received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for 106 units across the country with an aggregate capacity of 16,367 MWs.
The power plant is located 15 kilometers off Kahnuj, along the Kahnuj-Jiroft road. Mahtaab Gostar Kahnuj Power Generation Company served as the project’s client while Wala Energy Engineering Company was its engineering consultant.
