The fourth unit of Mahshahr thermal power plant received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) in late January 2023.
With the delivery of the unit, MD-2 has now received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for 108 units across the country with an aggregate capacity of 16,689 MWs.
Located 9 kilometers north of Mahshahr on Jarrahi (Chamran) road, Mahshahr power plant includes four gas-fired units each with a capacity of 162 MWs. The plant uses V94.2 gas turbines.
Thermal Power Plants Holding Company is the client of the project and Ghods Niroo Engineering Company serves as the consultant.
