MAPNA Group Participates in Major Rail Expo, Signs Deals to Sell 180 Wagons

MAPNA Group showcased its achievements in the railway sector in a major international rail exhibition and signed deals to sell tens of wagons.
MAPNA Group and its subsidiaries participate in the 10th International Exhibition of Rail Transportation and Related Industries Equipment which kicked off on September 26 in Tehran’s International Permanent Fairground.
Several high-ranking officials, including the Iranian Transport Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash, paid a visit to MAPNA Group’s booths on the first day of the event.
Also on the first day, MAPNA Group’s Wagon Pars Company signed two deals with Parsian Rail Shargh Co. and Tejarat Kushesh Sepahan to provide them with 100 grain hopper wagons and 50 ballast wagons respectively.
On the second day of the exhibition, Wagon Pars signed an agreement with Bonrail company on manufacturing 30 passenger wagons.
More than 100 companies are participating in this four-day event which is aimed at presenting the capabilities of Iranian companies, as well as indigenizing the rail industry equipment and familiarizing the country’s producers with the most advanced equipment and methods in this field.
Various workshops and seminars are also being held on the sidelines of the event which wraps up on September 29.
