MAPNA Group showcased its latest achievements, services, and innovations at the 19th Iran International Water & Wastewater Exhibition in Tehran.
The group’s focus at the exhibition, held on January 22-25, 2024, at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds, was on demonstrating total solutions within the water sector.
This underscores MAPNA Group’s capability to provide comprehensive water solutions, stemming from its extensive expertise across various water-related sectors.
MAPNA participated in this exhibition not only as an EPC company but also as a capital provider and investor in the fields of desalination, urban and industrial wastewater treatment, and the development of infrastructure for strategic equipment construction.
During the exhibition, a contract was inked for the construction of the desalination package for the IRAN LNG project by EPC method, carried out by Neyr Perse Company and Sepahan MAPNA Equipment Engineering and Construction Company.
Another notable accomplishment was the contract inked for the construction and installation of pumping stations for the national water transfer project from Chabahar to Zahedan, a collaboration between MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-2) and Industries and Mines Water Supply Company (IMWASCO).
The exhibition also paved the way for potential agreements in the water desalination project within the IMWASCO water transfer initiative.
MAPNA’s forthcoming plans in the water sector are strategically aligned with a heightened emphasis on technology absorption and localizing equipment, particularly in desalination, wastewater treatment, and the fabrication of equipment aimed at reducing water consumption in agriculture. Additionally, efforts will be directed towards establishing the necessary infrastructure to minimize water usage and promote water recycling in various industries.
