MAPNA Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-1) Company received a provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) for the first gas unit of Zabzevar Power Plant on May 27, 2024.
The MD-1 has achieved a PAC milestone with the addition of this unit, bringing the total number of temporarily delivered units to 153 with a total capacity to 20,919 MW.
The power plant is located near Sabzevar city on the Sabzevar-Shahroud road, northeast Iran.
The plant can produce 546 MW of electricity using two MAP2B gas turbines (each with a capacity of 183 MW) and one steam turbine (with a capacity of 180 MW). The project’s client is Ofogh Tosé Energy Khalij Fars Company and Moshanir serves as the consultant.
