MAPNA Expands Iran’s Gas Transmission Capacity with PAC of Ardestan Turbo Coompressor Units

MAPNA Group’s subsidiary, Neyr Perse, has successfully completed the 72-hour trial run of the first, second and third units at the Ardestan Gas Pressure Boosting Station. As a result, the Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC) for the station’s three turbo compressor packages was achieved on June 16, 2026.

The Ardestan Gas Pressure Boosting Station comprises four turbo compressor units in total, three of which have now been commissioned. Located on Iran’s eighth national gas transmission pipeline, the facility has a daily gas transmission capacity of 110 million cubic meters. It plays a significant role in enhancing the capacity and stability of the country’s gas transmission network.

Neyr Perse managed the project and implemented in cooperation with MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA) and MAPNA Electric and Control Engineering and Manufacturing Company (MECO).

Located in Isfahan province, the Ardestan station is part of MAPNA Group’s broader initiative to supply and manufacture 100 turbo compressor units for Iran’s national gas pipelines. With the commissioning of these units, the total number of installed and commissioned turbo compressor units nationwide by MAPNA Group has reached 69.

All stages of design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of these turbo compressor packages were carried out entirely by Iranian specialists. This achievement underscores the country’s capabilities in executing strategic energy projects through domestic expertise.
