Tehran, Oct. 31 – The 6th Indonesia Electricity Exhibition was held in Grand City Surabaya, Indonesia, on October 21-23, 2015.
The major theme of the 6th edition of the exhibition was ‘Optimization in Power Industry to Create Communications among All Shareholders for Domestic Development in Indonesian Power Industry.’
Directing Manager of Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), state-owned electricity company, hailed the exhibition as an important event. MAPNA, along with Siemens’ local representative, Finish Wärtsilä, Chinese Dec, and Singapore’s Swats Pte Ltd hosted a large number of visitors. High-ranking officials of PLN and PJB were among visitors to MAPNA’s pavilion.
Indonesian power companies welcomed cooperation with MAPNA in the country’s electricity industry. MAPNA team also presented the visitors with capabilities and capacities of the group, especially in the field of services, on the sidelines. Negotiations were also carried out with Indonesian domestic companies for cooperation inside the Indonesian market.
Currently, PLN, PJB, and Indonesian Power handle power generation in this country of 250 million people. The installed capacity across the country was announced as 54,000 MW by early 2015. A 10-year plan is projected to raise this figure to 96,000 MW by 2024.
MAPNA Group has been present in the Indonesian energy market, mainly through the life time extension (LTE) project of 2 units of Belawan Power Plant. The group participated in Surabaya exhibition to display its scope of capabilities and products, discuss business opportunities, exchange new ideas with key power companies in Indonesia, and share experiences with international partners.
