IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS: MAPNA SYNCHRONIZES TWO UNITS IN TWO POWER PLANTS

With the successful synchronization of two units in southern Iran in less than 24 hours, MAPNA Construction and Development of Combined Cycle Plants Company (MD2) recorded delivery of 11569 MWs in 77 units in its EPC profile.

With the successful synchronization of two units in southern Iran in less than 24 hours, MAPNA Construction and Development of Combined Cycle Plants Company (MD2) recorded delivery of 11569 MWs in 77 units in its EPC profile.

The second gas unit in Samangan Combined Cycle Power Plant (SCCPP) and the steam unit in Kahnuj Combined Cycle Power Plant (KCCPP) were synchronized to the national grid on early Friday and Saturday, by MD2, MAPNA’S subsidiary in charge of combined cycle projects.

The second gas unit of Samangan power plant was synchronized at 04:35 AM on Friday, September 9th, twenty-seven days after synchronization of the power plant’s first unit, also done by MAPNA MD2.

Located in Kerman Province, southern Iran, Samangan Combined Cycle Power Plant (SCCPP) project was officially commissioned to MAPNA by Kermanian Combined Cycle Power Plant Company in November 2014. Ghods Niroo served as engineering consultant.

The steam unit in Kahnuj Combined Cycle Power Plant (KCCPP) was synchronized to the national grid at 00:02 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2016. The single-block power plant is located 15 kilometers off Kahnuj, along the Kahnuj-Jiroft road. Mahtaab Gostar Kahnuj Power Generation Company served as the project’s client while Wala Energy Engineering Company was its engineering consultant.
